Suerly this cannot be legal in Australia. What you are saying is that a
message can be sent to ANY email address. Although you add a rider that it
must comply with regulations it is wide open for contravention of third
party rules. What is to stop me sending an email message to my ancient
aunt in, say New York, who wouldn't know one end of a radio from the
other? Using an email address, an amateur call is not necessary. I
wouldn't advise anyone to use this facility without checking on its
legality first. I believe it contravenes the regulations on third party
traffic.
