Hello Every one.

The following are indeed " ONLY EXAMPLES " and there IS NO SLANT,MALICE
OR DEROGATIVE REMARKS ARE INTENDED TO ANY OF THESE STATION OR SYSOP OR
SYSTEMS.

Look I would like you all to have a look at something as its very odd and
has been going on for some time now to which no one has picked this up !.

You all know how that the IRLP system have tied into the Echolink system
for some years now.

Please have a look at some of these duel port system being on the Echolink
system which are also IRLP link system as well.

To which if you have a good look at say to start with "GB3PZ-R" as Ian the
Sysop for that repeater link has a duel system that being Echolink and IRLP.

To which the following example was not alway the way that that system was
configured to which it is now showing it self to be at the present time as
"GB3PZ-R" used to be on the " i-Link " and now " Echolink system " as being
" ACTIVE " all the time until the Sysop closed down the whole system for
the night.
To which BOTH systems were on line to which were

1) I-Link and IRLP.
2) Echolink and IRLP.

So the current setup events of these systems on a lot of IRLP duel port
systems are just a new inovation and in some cases a newly occurence in
the setup of their port of these IRLP to Echolink systems.

To which however is making these " LINKS " a one way system even here in
Australia where one CAN NOT connect to a IRLP NODE in Australia from a
Echolink NODE in the same freedom that has been given to the IRLP system
to do on the Echolink System.

" Would this be viewed as one way trafficing in the land of Aus ? ".

GB3PZ-R MANCHESTER, UK IRLP 540 ON 22:17 2591
*VK2UTA* Sydney - IRLP [0/8] ON 21:27 93305

I have been looking at a few systems here in Australia as there VK2,VK3,VK6
IRLP crossed links into the Echolink system for some time now and I have
been noting all the claims being made by the IRLP net work in RF contacts
etc,,,
I can perhaps see how they are being able to make such a claim being on the
back of another network !.

How ever back to "GB3PZ-R" as our " EXAMPLE " as to what I see going on
in that when it does come up on the Echolink system now its showing that
the link to be " Active on the Echolink system " which all seem's to be ok
at this point.

But the odd thing is that " It does NOT Staying on the Active listing "
on the Echolink system to which would seem to mean that any connection
into Echolink From GB3PZ-R seem's only to be getting made through that
repeater link one way from that link into the Echolink system and then
it seems that when the " QSO " is finished GB3PZ-R " Go's OFF line ..!!!!

GB3PZ-R then go's back to being on the Echolink system but as being OFF line
and the link becomes " silhouetted " as we all know this only happens to a
link or repeater or a user who has gone OFF line on the Echolink system and
" NOT being up and Active at all "...but as being OFF line.

When one tries to make a connection to GB3PZ-R from Echolink it comes back
saying that " Station Not Found " where moments ago it was up and connected
to the Echolink system to which this link is now " None contact able for
any one wishing to connect to it FROM Echolink ?.

But GB3PZ-R is not the only station that is doing this as down here in
Australia there are a few otheir IRLP Node which are on the Echolink system
using a duel port system which are doing the same thing here in AUS !.

This one way trafficing in Australia is " illegal " as it states that no one
system in the Amateur net work can be used for the exclusive use of a
organisation club or individual nor can it be used for the purpuse of the
exclusion of other organisation, clubs or individuals.

As the Amateur network IS an open forum.

Which is odd to see that rule not being observed and has been that way for some
time now....wonder what the legalities as to that is ?

But how odd this is and there are a few other Dual Port system on the Echolink
System that are also IRLP and they are doing the same thing which in effect is
cutting OFF any person trying to connect to theses Link Repeaters FROM the
Echolink system side in to these supposed " Links or Repeaters ".

Have any one of you seen this yourself and I would ask why are these duel port
Sysop and system's doing this now I wonder what the reason would it be for this
in even setting such a precedent now ?.

Best Regards
