Ever heard a friend say my car is so good and so fast and so old and it
does not even use a drop of oil.
Just wondering if that is really normal. most cars have a breather pipe
running from the top of the head to the intake manifold.Oil vapour will be
sucked out.
The oil rings on the pistons: Isnt there suppose to pass a teenie weenie
little bit of oil past them to lubricate the cylinder sidewalls?
In between normal service intervals u probably would not detect a drop in
your oil level cos a dipstick is still only as accurate as how good u can
remember where the level was 15000km ago.
Please tell me your idea on this.
