If ypu were not running INCD or DIRECT CD you may not have noticed a
problem. The problem occurs when AVG clashed with the drivers for these
cd writers, The Files that caused the problems were uploaded on to the
website at approx 4:30pm that day, they were replacements for the ones you
downloaded around 2pm Harry, as they had found another small problem with
the way it handled the scanning of e-mails, they Fixed that and uploaded
the fixed versions to their site, What they didnt know was that the new
files they had uploaded had intriduced the problem with the INCD & DIRECT
Cd Software, The problems were caused by there own last bug fix that day!

They have agreed with me in a further e-mail that it was careless to
upload untested patches to the website and they WILL be more carefull in
future...

The file was fairly small, BUT it contained the patch and an update to the
anti virus data file..

see above..

everything is working properly for everyone again, and grisoft have agreed
that they caused far to many problems with this and that they will be more
carefull in future..

all in all a good result, and they will react much faster in future to
e-mailed bug reports..
