ok Right had a look at the avg info page on my system now its updated...
Program Version 6.0.401 Release Date : 04/10/2002

the .cz site seems to be more reliable in recent months, and the support
staff are all based at the .cz end of the buissness by the look of things.

Well My advice has been to get the patch file from me either via e-mail
or 7+ SP and then to update from the grisoft website as per normal, BUT
DONT let the system restart when it asks to..
keep Windows running, Copy the patch file in to the
\program_files\grisoft\avg6
Then reboot the system, and AVG, CD Rom \ CD Writer will all run normally
I have NOT sent the patch out as a 7+ Bulliten on purpose that way the
files I send to people will be ok..
I Wont send it out as a bulliten because of the nature of the File.
We Dont want some kind person to interfere with the file and get everyone
in the same mess again :(
