Hi Ian,
I think it is a matter of Tesla being ignored for many years by the
scientific estblishment and that we have now rediscovered him and his
work.

There are a number of Tesla's ideas listed there, including a 'fluidic
drive internal combustion engine'. Much of Tesla's work was lost
forever, I read he was not much of taker of notes.
