Did you know that most BBS systems can send bulletins to a specific area
of the world without leaving a "snail trail". Very handy for sending that
CQ request or any other bulletin or message to a specific city, region
or country. A very much under-used feature of the WW packet network.

If you do not have internet access then please use the following method.
You can retreive the necessary five small files using the REQFIL
(Request a File) server installed on the VK4CXX BBS system.
Instructions follow.
The FIVE small files you will need for the complete operation of the REDIST
server are listed below...
INTRO.001
OVERVIEW.002
HOWTO.003
LISTBBS.004
SETUP.005
The format of your packet messages to retreive these files are...
SP REQFIL @ VK4CXX
As subject/title of your message you type the name of the requested file,
followed by a @-sign and your HOMEBBS. Like this:
INTRO.001 @ G6WHL (if G6WHL is your HOMEBBS).
(Callsign of FULL SERVICE BBS Only,
No PMS's or H-ADDRESS Please)
The message can be empty, a CTRL-Z or /EX is enough.

* Please check your message BEFORE you send it. There are many requests *

After a few days, when the message has had time to be forwarded to the
VK4CXX BBS, you will receive a message in YOUR HOMEBBS containing the
requested file.
Do exactly the same for ALL five files listed above. A separate message will
be sent to you containing each file requested.
Please also pass this message along to your sysop as he maybe very interested.
