When I used to live in Perth ,in the 1970s
Western Australia ( about 1500 km to the North ) I
regulary drove up to Pannawonica and Port Hedland
to work in the mines. Around Carnarvon where the
massive dishes for the space program and the Omega
VLF station with buried antennas to communicate
with the Americian Sub's. I think it has all
closed down and the frequency used was around
30kc, someone might know ?
