Yes, I've seen that one. The best "demonstration" I have heard of was from
one of the other technical people at the office.

Seems he had been to a "Hi Fi" show, and one of the stands had a person
demonstrating how much better their particular "Super" speaker leads were.
The demonstration involved two identical pairs of speakers driven from one
amplifier, with a switch to select which speakers were in use. One pair
used standard 8 amp twin lead, while the other pair used the "special"
cable. Unfortunately for the demonstrator, my colleague noticed that the
pair using the cheap cable had the phase reversed on one speaker. 

He took great delight in the discomfort shown by the demonstrator when he
pointed out this "problem" and "corrected" it in front of an audience.
