Another one is the 'genderless' Anderson Powerpole connector used for
among others 12V lead acid batteries connections ,where a connector made
from 2 housings joined together cannot be mated with the wrong polarity.
This type of connector was described in G3SEK's column 'In Practice' in
RadCom.
