Hello Ian and fans of the flush toilet,
I hadn't planned on continuing this discussion, but what the hell.
Either you live in a very old house or the Aussies haven't come out of
the dark ages. The only tank on the wall toilets I have ever seen apart
from some old movies were in an Irish pub on the lower west side of
Manhattan, NYC which hadn't been remodeled since the 1890s. Very quaint
but effective urinals that you stand IN instead of in front of too. Good
idea, hard to aim properly after a few pints.
Hmmm, I too wonder about the coriolis (spelling?) effect at the equator.
I also wonder which way the ice would swirl at the polar camps. Anybody
in Antarctica have packet?
I remember an episode of The Simpsons featuring the politically correct
toilets at the American Embassy in Australia and Bart getting "The Boot".
I know why you don't take baths but I'll never tell...
