If they can`t do that, then there`s not a cat in hell`s chance of them
soldering a BNC plug.

In the good old days, I used to even solder Co-ax plugs, not
sufficient to bend the inner conductor into a "W" pattern and hope
that it makes good conductivity with the inner pin.

Maybe the question should be:-
