Hi Harry and all,
I'm beginning to think the Brits have a better idea using the double
button bayonet base rather than screw in as here. I have been bitten by a
few floor and table lamps plugged in with the shell live. That's seldom a
problem because grounded objects are rarely within reach and less
likelihood of someone holding one while changing a bulb. Still, you have
the safer way.
Sorry OM, this time you didn't furnish any tidbits for inspiration. I'll
have to find someone else to pick on with silly comments. (;->)
Oh, this one has been waiting, may as well let it out. If we plug our
feet into sock(et)s, why shoes? Trains get power through thier (contact)
shoes, no sock(et)s involved...
