Wolfgang,  its  NOT  true  that  higher currents  are  more  likely  to  cause 
fibrillation. Higher currents cause the heart to stop and a stopped heart  can 
recover  on its own. A heart if fibrillation if not stopped by a strong  shock 
is a heart that will die from lack of blood circulation.

There  is a side problem with the higher voltages (240 and up) that can  cause 
the  heart to stop. There can be a lot of heating and deep burns in the  paths 
followed  by  the  current, at 7200 volts that current can  lead  to  loss  of 
complete  limbs,  or  in one case I investigated, a  man's  body  ignited  his 
clothes from being stuck to 7200 volts, he was awing enough current to  trip 
the  50  amp reclosing circuit brears but they reclosed several  times.  His 
family saw it happen. 

I believe I've had more clients who were survivors of 7200 volt contacts  than 
widows  killed  by that voltage, and more widows from 120 volt  contacts  than 
survivors.
