Here we go again, another VK4LU LU!
Can't say much about the MIC KEY MOUSE, but here's the story of MITs
laureate, MIT KEY MOUSE. (Original name Motimer.)
Morty went to MIT and learned how to use a KEY. He moved to Hollywood,
later Anaheim, changed his name to Walt Disney and went into pictures
under the stage name of Mortimer Mouse. His one and only film using that
name was Steamboat Willy. (Don't ask, don't know.) Later he changed his
name to Mickey and started that famous club starring the even more famous
Annette Funicello. Now, Willy knew how to send CW but didn't have a KEY.
Well, that smart little mouse was steaming up the river blasting out
CQ and signing Walt's callsign.
The callsign remains as Walt's legacy, assigned to the Ham Radio club he
started and a similar one is assigned to Disney World in Orlando. Next
time there, you'll find it on the club 2M repeater.
