Hey, you are letting that Merlin fella get in the way of the technician
again! :-)) Lots of spells cast in your 'Hot Air' bulls today.
Read my pressure differential theory to see one reason why helium may
not migrate to the upper atmosphere. I don't know if they do. But
according to my theory, it would depend in the dimensions of gas molecules
and not only the 'lightness' of helium.
Thank's; you have given me a part answer to my Bayonne question. Yes, it's
Bayonne NJ that I referred to. Bo Grace draws a cartoon called 'ERNIE' and
I guess it appears in newspapers around the world. You must have seen it.
He seems to send up Bayonne when he wants a bad example. It's not far from
you and I thought you could enlighten me. No doubt a local joke!
Another thing; I read A bulletin from you about antennas and ground waves.
After seeing your new post script, and a bulletin some time ago about your
REGNETATIVE detector and some other ingenious device, I think I may be
talking to the man behind 'LARSEN E RAPP'. For those reading this and came
in late, QST, many years ago, printed occasional technical articles authored
by someone called Larsen E Rapp, (say it quickly). But these were only
printed in the April edition!
The one that makes me suspicious, Warren, was Rapp's suggestion that as
a vertical antenna has an equal image directly below it, then you could
bore a hole and drop an antenna down it, which would give you a vertical
image above it with the big advantage of being invisible! I wonder if you
have a hole bored through your bathroom floor and your landlord is unaware.
Will the real Larsen E Rapp please stand up!
