Hello Harry and dim bulbs,
Just kidding! OK, I'll admit to a SLIGHT reduction in lux per watt, but
it's so slight I felt it didn't bear mentioning. Perceptive? Hmmm, Maybe
I would say "picky".
PLEASE! Thanks a lot for reminding me of the worst job I had as an
electrician! I didn't mind at all the machine installations and repairs,
nor even the PM which included cleaning tons of sawdust out of belt
sanders, table saws, planers, etc. in the cabinet shop, but relamping the
show room was the PITS! Up on the scaffold, trying to maneuver around
displays with 9' lamps while customers milled around below was no picnic.
Took me a month, but afterward all the dead and dying boogers were
replaced.
Then it was back to 208 V 3 PH Y back in the shop. HEY! Wasn't that the
original discussion?
Oh, did I happen to mention that while drawing a trio of 560 circular mil
through a conduit I resorted to using a fork lift for horsepower. You
guessed it, the clamps snapped and the whole run came crashing to the
floor. Good thing the boss was out on a home installation...
Now, what was I saying about dim bulbs?
