Hello Brian and bulb heads,
In every catalog I have ever looked at in the US, the little glass things
that give off light when electricity is applied is marketed as a lamp.
"Luminaire" is perhaps what they're called in France, every where in the
English speaking world, they're called light bulbs. When I go to the
local parts distributor and ask for a box of #47 bulbs, he knows exactly
what I'm talking about.
Silly boy, when you go to the auto parts store looking for a battery for
your car, do you ask for a voltiac pile?
All joking aside, send some of those Phillips lamps this way. The ones
marketed here under the Phillips brand are junk like all the rest. Do
your's say on them "made in Holland" or "made in Mexico"?
