Hello Brian and fellow zoners,
"Some of us live in a fantasy world conjured up by the computer."
Some of us live in The Twilight Zone conjured up BEFORE the computer.
"Ihave tried all these so called weak signal modes !!."
So have I.
"Could he tell the difference between computer noise and so called weak
signal>"
My ears can. BTW, if you have computer noise, you have some poorly built
computer. Mostely it comes from the monitor, try turning it off.
"As for DSP well, in my book it stands for the following.
DISTORTS SIGNAL PERMANTLY"
Gee, I hope so, that's how it works! If it distorts the AUDIO, you have
it adjusted incorrectly. Considering all the static, TV synch birdies and
other crap in the neighborhood, if it weren't for DSP I couldn't operate
without going deaf.
"I once thought i was a technician, but have since had the cure."
You were better off as a technician, the cure for ignorance is education,
it's magic.
No insult intended sir, I'm just baffled why anyone would want to dumb
down from technician status to that of an appliance operator and one who
can't operate his appliance at that.
*********************************
I'm a technician, not a magician!
