As you have nothing to loose...

If you can catch it in time and can get into the BIOS settings - You could see
if you can adjust the settings to boot from a floppy or a USB stick. You then
need to (on another system) make the floppy or USB stick bootable and include
a copy of the AMI BIOS flash software util along with a copy of the actual
BIOS for that specific motherboard. The latter can usually be found on the
motherboard manufacturers web site.

If that doesn't help, bin it.
