Subject: Purpose of an AMD i.c?
I've just been breaking up an old laptop.
In a user accessable socket is an AMD chip AM29F002BT.
It's just under half an inch square.
I was wondering what it was used for, as being user accessable seems to make
me think it's something that can be "recycled" ?
