In the mid-1980s I worked with a chap who was I think ex-Navy and had been
a teleprinter operator. It was interesting to see him typing reports on a
PC as he was touch-typing but at the regular teleprinter rhythm instead of
the more common higher speed but irregular rattle of the usual touch typists.
Tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap as compared to taptap...taptaptap-tap-taptap..tap.
