Hi All

I missed the thread that Mel refers to about keyboards, and he mentioned
that Andy said that one could do no better than obtaining an IBM keyboard.

The best keyboard I've come across, so far, is a Logitech. I was given a
brand new boxed one a couple of years ago and have only recently had to
dig it out to replace a ten year old Gateway keyboard. The Logitech does
not have a Sleep button Mel.

I was an OKB (Operator KeyBoard) with the Royal Signals during the Creed
Teleprinter days and have kept up my touch typing, first with a typewriter
then a Dragon computer, chose it because it had a "proper" keyboard,
before graduating to a PC.

It's a very interesting subject for us typists, but, as Andy mentioned,
not of much interest to peek and peck typists.
