Hi all Experts please ?

I have 2 P4 PC's both with XP-PRO installed.

On 1st PC I Installed a programme Call Legacy Family Tree a few years ago.
Not quite sure when but did get a few updates and with Cost of searches Etc I
took it off, then an Inlaw came up with more data so I downloaded the latest
version as the files they sent me were not compatible.

Installing on the PC that had the original V.4 am now Plauged by this popup
that says " Configuring Smartsound quicktracks " ? then it is unable to do so
becouse it was not installed on the PC ? Found said software and installed it
but the Blasted Popup still is exactly the same.

In frustration I have Uninstalled BOTH as I had bought the Family tree and
have the disk / password / customer Number.

Clean up using System Mechanic and everything else I have but on Re-install I
get exactly the same thing so I am presuming some place in registry ?

To try and Prove to myself it is Not in the Family Tree software installation
I installed it on the second PC which has never had the programme installed
before and lo and behold NO SIGN OF IT !!! it installed perfectly OK and
works as it should and this Popup is just not happening.

The only reason I would like to keep it on the first PC is becouse this one
is the one used for the Internet thus any data updates from inlaw's Etc will
come in to that PC that would then require transfer to the second PC.

So for all experts can anyone tell me HOW to rid myself of this iritating
problem please, in simple NON expert language ? yes I can negociate the
registry Etc but what am I looking for ?

I would very much apreciate any help on this and know I have seen previouse
reference to the same or simular problem ? Same " Smartsound " bit but think
different programme ? ANY HELP PLEASE !!! I have kept my hair for 68 years
and would like to keep it longer but at this rate I shall be bald in a week.
