Thanks for your comment re your success installing the 744 version in
Win98SE. At least I now know where the problem lies and my original query
is fully answered. Many thanks for a bit of good packet radio cooperation.
I havent seen anything from G3WYP so maybe he sent something as a
personal message. The chances of it reaching me have never been proven
with my current BBS. I must say that having to send bulletins to get this
topic sorted goes a bit against the grain for me. It is this failure of
personal mail paths aspect of packet which shows the extent to which the
system has broken.
