By now VE3CDM Tom Aitkins President of the IARU REGION 2 has read the January
1998 issue of THE CANADIAN AMATEUR (TCA) the official magazine of RADIO 
AMATEURS of CANADA (RAC).
   In addition VE3DSS , Dana Shtun RAC Director Ontario South has read the
magazine.

On page 12, the article headline reads "RAC commissions VE9VAR to review
electoral procedures" . 
Bravo RAC for doing the right thing, the anticipated changes in policy should
ensure RAC's  integrity in future elections. The anticipated policy revisions
(this is my opinion) should prevent meddling in RAC elections as happened
in the Ontario South Director election of late 1997.
