No way,let's get this straight.
At a *WORLD* Radio Conference decisions are taken that affect millions of
people. Those who are attending and bashing out policy SHOULD actually
know what they are talking about.
Australia appears to have sent a bunch of trainees to oppose what the rest
of the world's delegates had concluded. These trainees should have never been
in the position of being able to represent their country as well as attempt
to influence the greater good of the rest of the world. They were probably
only interested in the hospitality and a free ride to somewhere outside of
Australia.
Australia's standing in world radio matters has now been severely tarnished,
they just can't be trusted to do their homework. But the rest of the world
had, so why not the Australian delegation ?
Until the Australian's can show themselves as competent to deal with what
they are charged to do - they should be suspended from being able to have
World Radio Conference voting rights.
