Hello fellow packet people,
So I have been using this MFJ TNC-X daily on my packet
node for quite a while now. All of a sudden one day it
stopped working. I took it out of service and replaced
it with another one and all is well again.
Today, I was checking it out, and tried to pair it with
another radio. It seems like it is not hearing consistently
but it seems like it is transmitting ok. I am using the
internal USB and with the USB supplied power.
Has anyone else had an issue with these over time?
Maybe the firmware is currupted? Has anyone relashed
the firmware on these things?
Is it garbage?
