Hi and thanks to any experts ?
A friend has an HP Pavilion Notebook with a Video problem, unfortunatly
having checked on the Internet, this is a common problem but the Model is Not
in the free repair group listed by HP although it apears quite simply to be
due to the PC having no Cooling fan and the Video chip overheating so it is
in fact the subject of a Legal Claim at this time.
Problem ?
The HD has many pictures and personal files that they would like to recover
if possible ? I have an adaptor that converts Some laptop Hard drives to IDE
so I would be able to connect to my desktop, but this drive is not one that
it fits, have had a good look around but unable to find simular to fit this
Drive so the question is ?
Has anyone any idea as the where I may be able to obtain any convertion
connection or has anyone any other solutions to the problem, the obviouse
thing would be to find a working HP Pavilion, swap drives and download to a
memory stick or card but so far they are a bit scarce here so any OTHER
suggestions please ?
