One can't help but wonder if this is a deliberate tactic to persuade the
user to not run anything that might use the full potential of a broadband
connection.
I can see the company's acceptable user policy ....
You can use your broadband connection for any legal purpose, (then the fine
print) but we'll make it as difficult as hell for you if you try!
