If it doesn't state Vista compatibility on the box then you're stuffed. The
gurantee will state the device works and works with XP. In this case the
user is mis-using the equipment!
Life marches on and it's almost impossible to buy stuff without Vista. May
be worth asking for the money back for the Vista install from the
dealer/Microsoft and then installing XP.
