Snap - you took the same words out of my mouth or from the keyboard, Bill.
(Although the foreign version of the same product that I still use is spelt
'Tippex'). Their associated thinner isn't so readily available though these
days, but that was also useful to wipe the excess away, to leave the white (or
coloured!) tippex behind in the grooves.
