Hello all..
For better or worse I shifted my BBS from DOS to WinFBB.
It is now using the FIXEDSYS font at the consol display
and the E = mcı is correctly displayed and survives the
scrolling up and down operations.
Incidentally, I think that little "2" when raised as a
power or exponent, is referred to as a superscript.
The other "lowered 2" used in chemistry is known as a
subscript. Like H SO but is not feasible here. (H2SO4)
2 4
What software do you use Dick?
Can you select the above font?

PS Gripe1: Too many fonts are designed for general "office
memo" usage and I HATE those tiny hard to read
periods and dashes that pass for "minus" signs.
These totally underwhelming characters can be
highly significant in finance and maths.
Gripe2: The loss of vertical column integrity is again
a poor result from all variable pitch fonts.
I bet my attempt at lowering the 2 and 4 won't
survive font translations for sulphuric acid.
These translations can cause havoc with 7PLUS
data integrity as well. Billy thinks he knows
best at all times! GRRrrrr!
