Thanks for reading my message.I purchased a Mercer laptop with
windows xp installed.After installing winpac 6.8/agw I could connect
with the BBS and local users, but could not receive any information
back.I can hear the BBS signal, but no indication on the screen
confirming my connection.Do I need additional software to operate
winpack/agw with windows xp, or is there some configurations I should
do.At the moment I am using a PK232 modem with its own software on the
sound cards line in/mic, line out/spkr, and it works fine.Thus the
soud card seems to be ok.Please forward any info to my packet address,
