Hello all.
This year I got a new television from Panasonic: The model TX29.
It is a 100Hz version with a very nice screen and is used in the living room
downstairs.
My shack is upstairs on the second floor and my antenna is a TH7DX at aprox.
16m hight from the ground on my roof.
During a contest a found some new noise floors and beeps on HF especially on
20m with the heaviest RFI and when I switch off the TVI all is gone and the
band is clear from 160m to 10m.
I tried to check where the RFI comes from and I changed a lot cables like
Scart, power cort, etc. !
I tried also Ferrits on the power cort. NOTHING. Itīs comming from the TV
itself.
OK, during a contest or for a special DX I can switch of the TV.
When I recognized my problems I tried to get in contact with Panasonic Germany
but I got less response.
Last week my direct neighbour asked me to help him installing his new TV.
I got afraid: He got a TX32 from Panasonic.
Itīs the same like mine just a 16/9 system and mine is 4/3...!
Today I was busy in the ARRL 10m contest and had no problems.
10m cndx had been bad and I went down to 14MHz to listen to VU4 but I got
shocked again.
The noise was much heavier than before.
When I switch off my TV it getīs a bit less but 20m was/is not workable.
Today I sent an email to the RFI or EMV laboratory of Panasonic in Hamburg and
I hope to get any response.
Who has same problems with Panasonic shit ? Or who can help with it ?
Many thanks in advance de Jochen
