Hi Tinus and readers,
AdAware does not link itself to any other programs and will not bring up
your dialer. You must connect to the Internet first, then update the
program. There's nothing strange about it, few such programs
automatically bring up the dialer like a browser does so unless you are
already connected niether automatic nor manual updates work on thier own.
There is a "catch" though, many automatic updates will remember and
connect to the server while you're connected and using another program,
most work in the background unnoticed.
