Hi Kenny and all,
You can right click on the image in the Word document, at least if the 
creator of the document has not locked it (uneditable).
Then select copy. Next open MakroSof Photo Editor, this one comes 
with MS Office (Pro only?) in the Office Tools, and open a new file.
You will have to experiment for the width and hight, maybe also the 
resolution. Next paste the picture onto the canvas you just created.
This can be safed as JPG and then next can be edited in some program 
not created by MakroSof, like Adobe Photoshop.
You can use Imaging (a Kodak Program that comes with Windoooze), but 
I don't think it will give good results easily.
