Use Version 2002.10 because it doesn't have the memory release bug that
locks up your PTT and leaves your rig in transmit (getting hot!) for hours
when unnattended.
The only real difference between between v2002.10 and the latest is that
you will have to manually set the input audio level seen by AGW via
the Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Windows volume.
Once you have entered the volume control use Properties to enter the
RECORDING volumes and make sure you use the LINE INPUT (NOT! mic input)
to set the input levels seen by AGW.
AGW doesn't need much input level to be seen and any overload will
prevent successful decoding of packets.
It's best to use the AGW Soundcard tuning option to monitor the levels.
You can thank me,RU3BB and RK3DIE for wasting gawd knows how many hours,
system crashes and red hot handhelds for finding this out.
