I have recently changed my PC and am having problems with my TNC. My old PC
had a 25 pin serial port, while my new one has 9 pin serial ports. Could
anybody supply the info for wiring a 25 pin lead to a 9 pin pleae. I need
pins 1 - 8 and 20 on the 25 pin (TNC end) to be connected. What pins do
these relate to on the 9 pin (PC) end.

Many thanks

Jim,

All you need is a standard 9 to 25 pin connector.. you can get them at any
electroics store, or even radio shack. It's the same pinout as an external
modem is.

Eduardo Jacob's list hasn't been active for a little over a week now.
Don't know what the problem is.

Thanks,Don,and everyone else who pointed out this site.

Maybe Eduardo is on vacation, and the psk list is only temporarily shut down.

Have any of you PSKers worked 15/17/30/40 lately?

Not that much activity-yet-but that's a bonus, unless you like trying to work a
QSO in between all the traffic on 14.070, during prime time.
