Subject: AEA DSP-232 please help

Hello
I have a DSP-232 which may be damaged. I could only communicate on 1200
bd over the serial interface with my PC (stop bits, parity are set
correct). On other baud rates I see only cryptical caracters. Then the
DSP asks me to type an '*' for auto-baud setting. After typing * three
or four times the DSP is initializing with following output:

At this time all LED's will be flashing and i must reset the DSP-232
Has anyone an idea which electronical device wold be damaged?
Thanks for reading

Hy all,

Radioraft is a very good program and Francois Guillet (the author)
could be very helpfull but may be you need to ask or propose
modifications or improvements and not to request it .

You're thinking of the old definition.. ;)
Nowdays, partially disabled (demo) progs are shareware too (I guess)...

Generally there are share ware programs that won't do as much as the "for
sale" version and sometimes it is difficult to tell the demo from the
shareware version. <:-))

What I dislike are the programs that require the disk to be in the machine
when you run it such as the latest versions of MS Combat flight Simulator
I prefer to put every thing on the Hard Drive.

Fortunately, aside of this traditional "shareware" world, now a "free
software" world is developing. It does not seem to catch on for Windows
yet, but an entire OS plus applications has been written that way.

Partially disabled and/or copy protected software does not exist in this
world. Of course, it is more difficult to get payment for your work,
especially when you are running a small operation.
