I will be in New Zealand later this year and plan to run APRS there. Can
anyone point me to a source of NZ maps (ideally on CD so I can make my
own).
Thanks

Is there going to be a DCC for 2000? Where? TAPR doesn't mention it on
their site as far as I could see.
Thanks,
Jim.

Subject: DigiPan Receive Audio Hint Needed
Unless you don't have enough drive from the receiver, the sound card
line input is the place to inject the receive signal. Mike inputs are
often more noisy. If you're getting blue speckles from the receiver
noise then you have the correct level.
PSK31 is very sensitive to phase changes caused by propogation. It is
sometimes possible (especially with signals coming over the poles) to
have a very strong, clean sounding signal that will not print at all.
Tuning is also very critical. Make sure the AFC is turned on in the
software. Get the tuning as close as you can as quickly as you can and
then "hands off" the dial to let the AFC do the fine tune. I leave the
speaker on during the tune process as the tones help me in tuning the
signal in.

Subject: DSP settings for PSK31
Any suggestions for DSP settings for PSK31? I am using WinPSK and have a
Timewave DSP-59Y (which is the same as their DSP-599+). I have been using
it in voice mode with High Pass set to 100 Hz and Low Pass set to 2200 Hz.
