Count me among the multitude who wish you would confine policy
discussions to policy and not clutter up the digital newsgroup with
your repeated wishes for more Big Government regulation. Since you
are such a technical jock, surely you see the value of a newsgroup
dedicated to the technical aspects of digital, not cluttered up by
your repeated, endless, changeless expressions of desire for more
Government regulation and licensing.

You might try to turn on your PASSALL or whatever Timewave
calls it. With PASSALL on, you will se packets even if they don't
pass the error checking. Also turn your MRES on. You may be
hearing ACK's or other TCP/IP stuff, that is getting masked out.
I suspect 145.75 is a TCP/IP channel, and your settings are such
that you aren't allowing the data to be printed. Which is good
actually, as it will be mostly garbage on the screen.
Just a guess...
