That's in our voice range here. Data is below 28.200.
Will look for it in the morning as the sun passes...

Rick,

Sounds as if this will be a finalist in the "Most Creative Y2K
Bug"contest!

My DSP-2232 woke up just fine, except the BB clock chip did not roll
over correctly. Once I reset it the date came up as 1-Jan-00. Of
course it probably thinks it is 1900, but who cares?

PkTerm and PakRatt know it's 2000. So no worries. Thanks for the report on
the DSP-2232. I'll let Randy know about the mailbox roller problem. Glad
everything is up and working.

Mine looks OK this morning. Worked at 8/E/1, and I've got the upgraded
firmware (dec 98) from Timewave. I'll check Monday at the office on a
DSP-232 with the old firmware and see if it runs into the same problem.

I did a soft reset too, in addition to the hard reset.

Rick, Ralph, et al,

After I read your posts, I turned on my DSP-232. Started PC PakRatt ver. 2.1
for Windows 3.1. (computer OS is Win98). I did not change any settings. The
DSP-232 initialized normally. I connected to the local DX Cluster and then
switched to Baudot and copied the first signal I heard on 20 meters. I then
changed to PK-TERM'99 and the results were identical.

In command mode, I tried the DAytime (date and time) command. The date and
time displayed correctly in (01-Jan-00 17:19:21). I don't know if 00 means
1900 or 2000 - I have to check that later.

The PC to DSP-232 parameters are Tbaud = 19200, AWlen = 8, PARity = 0. (Use
the command DISP A (asynchronous port parameters) to show the values.)

My DSP-232 is connected to COM 3, which happens to be a serial port adaptor
on the USB bus.

My DSP-232 firmware is the 12-21-98 release.

Happy New Year!

Hi Rick (& others),

Fired up the DSP-232 this afternoon, did another hard reset and it started to
work fine. Copied some 20M Pactor & RTTY signals just fine. I did this with
XPCOM & PKTerm99 (Version 1.4 & 1.4a). No problems now. Wierd!!! Thanks
again Rick for the help.
