Subject: BULLET FORWARDERS ARGUING
Dear Bullet Forwarders,
For God's sake will you stop arguing all the time!!!
You are just wasting bandwidth trying to prove god knows what.
Remember that some people pay money for nothing to see your endless
flames.
Please stop arguing for the sake of the argument. Do something
constructive. Stop attacking people if they express their opinion.
If you want to do something, go and do it first and then argue.
Be civilized! Grow up!!!

Demetre, the fellows you are addressing bear witness to the fact that it
is much easier to sling mud on a newsgroup than to do something
constructive and then tell about it. And, it is also easier to make
excuses than progress.
Now, wait and see how many flames those statements attract! Should take
about 3 hours. ;^)

The Slovenian stuff (http://www.hamradio.si) is well-documented,
simple, and looks eminently reproduceable. They are on my Things
To Do Someday list.
The catch phrase seems to be "reproducible by amateurs". Too many
amateurs nowadays seem incapable of anything more technical than
plunking down a credit card.

OK Hank, thanks for the very interesting explanation. All understood --
still not clearly where the argument is though.
Actually, I don't really understand your "power spread" term.

Hmm. I would have called this the link budget; a set of figures
showing transmitted power, antenna gain (and hence EIRP), link loss,
