No representative in Europe yet?
Not that I'd mind buying it from the States, bound to be a hell
of a lot cheaper.

I got it a couple of months ago and it's very good.
You can order it direct from Timewave Inc in St Paul, MN. Details on
Web page http://www.timewave.com/
It cost me $142 including airmail. I ordered by FAX on a Monday and
received it on Thursday morning of the same week.
Their UK agents are Nevada, but they do not sell the PK232 upgrades.

Hi Walt,
What improvements have you seen in the PK232 since fitting the upgrade?
I looked into it when the upgrade was announced but haven't come across
anyone who'd fitted it yet.

You can go to 5.08 cm for half percent.
Is this a couple?
Gary7SLL, wondering if anyone winds their own IF trannies anymore.

1. Improved resolution of digital-mode signals under QRM conditions
.... to the extent that during the recent contest I was able to print
some signals which I couldn't hear audibly through the QRM.
2. Several additional useful commands have been added to the TNC
command set.
3. "Break-in" operation on baudot RTTY .... i.e. tx comes on as soon
as you hit a key, and rx comes back on at a user-selectable interval
after the transmit buffer empties. Ideal for contest work.
4. Full support for PACTOR, if your version of the box doesn't
already have it.
