Bowie Baysox Stadium, 1/4 mile south of Rt 50, on Rt 301. Looks like you
can get there by taking Rt 204 from I-95 (DC beltway).

Pity they moved it from Gaithersburg...

Subject: Help: Shutdown Fault with "Logger"

Hi,

Just as a follow-up to my original posting (the fault with the computer
not shutting down correctly after using logger). After the problem was
apparently cured it re-occurred. This time I contacted the author of
Logger and he suggested removing "Fast File" from my start-up menu. This
did the trick!

BTW, could someone point me to the Logger reflector?

Cheers,

Funny, we get this a lot in comp.os.vms and other os related
news-groups. ADVISORY! The Profs also scan the news-groups now a
days. Part of your education is learning how to research. There are
plenty of references on the web and in your university's library.

You might try "Reference Data for Engineers: Radio, Electronics,
Computer, and Communications" by Jordan. Excellent reference.

If you do the research on your own, you will retain the skills longer.
And, you will receive the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Good luck on your test.

Dear Student:

What kind of University allows you to get "help" from a NG on your tests?

Send us the name of your University the name and email address of your
Professor and the name and email address of the chief administrator of your
University.

We'll check with them first to see if it's OK to help you. If so . . . then
you might expect some help from here, otherwise . . . .

Good luck on the test!

Strange? I never got help on my tests! What ! ! ! Am I just an old fogie
or what?

ATT offers Family service for up to five users. Calls to your home phone from
your mobile phone in the primary service area a free. With a second line
already dialed in to your ISP, and that modem connected to an answering modem
on your main line, you should be able to do wireless internet all day for free
from car or backpack.

Just an alternative to having to put it together yourself on amateur bands.

I have a little pen tablet that can be worn on the back. I proposed
advertising
my own business or others on the wearables newsgroup. It has come to pass and
people are roller skating around advertising things. Neat.

You could offer anyone an instant web search wherever you happened to be.
Free.
with ads, or via credit card for service on demand. A map server would be
particularly useful. Wherever you go, there you are. Someone asks for
directions and they get a map.

I also have a portable printer system with no backpack yet.
