Some temperatures:
Aopen AX34 + Intel Pentium PIII 1GHz MBOARD: 37C CPU: 46C
Asus A7N266 + AMD Athlon XP2400+ 2.4GHz MBOARD: 34C CPU: 44C
The Asus runs Win2k and was idling whilst the Aopen which runs Linux had
just spent 6mins compiling a kernel.
Both systems are in minitower cases sat on the floor with the Asus having a
case fan. Both CPUs have genuine CPU make fans, i.e. PIII has an Intel
branded fan+heatsink and AMD has an AMD branded fan+heatsink
Shack temperature is 21C.
