Wow, 80c, that is hot. That has got to be on the upper level and very close to
failure temp for any CPU. But you say it has run quite happily for a long
while.
When I did my failure test, the computer began to stall at 80 - 85c, before
failure at 95c. Interestingly, the CPU failed before windows had a chance to,
in that test!!!

According to my info no CPU is designed for that constant temp. As I said
above, got to be close to failure, but happy days till then.
