Shouldn't that be 'Orientated'? I dimly remember using it on an XT, with
an editer, interpreter, and compiler, all on separate 1.44MB Floppies,
with a ream of printout just so the interpreter could point out that I'd
missed out a full stop somewhere...those were the days of structured
programming, Machine Code, (not so) High Level Languages.
I've never tried learning one of these new fangled object orientated
languages, yet I've been told by a friend who is a Systems Analyst that
I'd have more difficulty learning with a structured language background,
than someone completely new to object orientated languages.
I've been meaning to have a go these last five years but something has
always cropped up to send me on another tangent...one day I'll do it.
