Absolutely right Jeff, a whopper of a faux pas. I won't say that you got
the wrong end of the stick or anything else. What I wrote was obviously
open to more than one interpretation. 

What I should have said is :-

  Re BIOS and POST, I'll have to agree with Warren as to what POST does.

I do not of course, agree with Warrens explanation of BIOS stands for, and
I doubt very much that anyone else does.
